Christmas Cookies!

Happy Christmas Eve!  We spent a lot of the morning wrapping last minute presents and decorating Christmas cookies.  I'm sure you'll wish you had some of these by the time you're done looking at the pictures...

A gooey, yummy, Christmasy mess.  We are looking forward to seeing family and friends during the next few days, and I will make I post sometime next week about all of our festivities.  Merry Christmas - Jesus is born!

Happy Birthday, Bransen!

Bransen requested a Sonic themed party for his birthday.  He invited his friends Jack and Jackson over to join in the fun.  We played games outside pretending to be Dr. Robotnik catching the good guys, and pretending to be Sonic getting dizzy.  We also played "Pin the tails on Tails".  I don't have pictures of those things because I was helping the kids play, but hopefully I'll get some from Aunt Lisa that I can pass on later.

Of course, we also had a Sonic cake and lots of cool presents.  Bransen was excited about every gift and very happily thanked his family.

A couple days later Grandma Gabel made Bransen his special birthday dinner and dessert - homemade mac and cheese and a giant "cake" made of fruit.  Bransen LOVED his fruit and gobbled a bunch of it up.  And of course, he received a few more super cool presents.

We are so blessed to have Bransen as our son.  Here's wishing him another happy and healthy year!

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas...

The day after Thanksgiving we hauled out our Christmas tree and all of our decorations and spent the afternoon listening to Christmas music and decorating.

And when we were finished, the kids wanted to sing us a Christmas song!  Then they wanted to be able to play video games in exchange for their good performance...but it was still cute.
